The best Xinjiang cuisine I’ve ever found in Montreal! Tasty and the portions are enormous! We used to go to Tarim near Concordia but sadly it was closed a while ago.
Amazing experience!!!!! Will be back for sure!!! The chicken plate , noodles , and lamb kebabs were you need to try the lamb soup , best thing during the winter
Nice ambience and dishes focused on western Chinese cuisines, which is a mix of Arab and chineses dishes. Surprising and tasteful, I think this is a very interesting fusion of so different cultures. Price and portion sizes are pretty good too.
Big chicken plate was so so delicious! Samsa was only for Friday and Weekends so we could not try them. Dumplings were good, too. Edit: I revisited this place and had samsa (lamb bread) and lamb rib stew over bread. Amazing, awesome, so good!
The first experience here was more than awesome. We were amazed by their portion sizes. We'd ordered Lamb Kebab, Cumin Lamb, Special Leghman (Lamb), Chicken Plate, Dry Fried Noodles (Beef) & their special Naan. Each and every item tasted individually different and great. The spice level was to our satisfaction and everything was prepared fresh. The owner informed us that this is their first day of re-opening after COVID-19 close down since March 2020 and so we had the honor to be one of their first customers today. We were also presented with their traditional tea after food, to make the experience wholesome. Would definitely recommend this place and return again if visit back Montreal. Two thumbs up !
This place is AMAZING. A HIDDEN GEM The lamb is super tender and filled with flavor. The cumin compliments lamb perfectly. The fried noodles are to die for. I love spicy so it was amazing. You can request to make it less spicy if you prefer. The steam dumplings (manti) are filled with onion and are suuper juicy. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Feels super welcoming and kind of feels like home
The food taste amazing. Highly recommended the LAMB KEBAB. And BIG CHICKEN PLATE is popular as well. For me i love the CHOPPED FRIED NOODLE. It's a prefect place for food. And also they can speak Chinese. BUT HONESTLY THE SERVICE IS REALLY BAD. nobody gave the water. No body care about us. And staff always forgot what i order. And the service here is really really really really slow. One order one hour.
Authentic and delicious Uyghur dishes! Good price and large portions. Hidden gem. Definitely would come back. Highly recommend!
